In New York City, Ramajay Mas which was formed from the remnants of several of the best carnival bands around, created their own theme. “Their background includes Fashion Institute of Technology (NYC) graduates, winners of WIADCA’s coveted King of the Band competition and band/section leaders from well-known & respected NY Mas Bands such as Borokeetes,

Rango Mas and Hawks International”

The Adult theme is “AMAZONIA: Unleash your inner savage… “And the children’s Carnival Theme is “In The Candy Shoppe” The Children’s band launch is schedule for mid July.  Their 12 section band is already making tracks with an entire section (D’Amazons) sold out months before labor day carnival parade 2009.
