“Nice Costumes“, “Great Costumes” “I really like that one“,”I buying dat!“, thats what the people were cheering as the Borokeete models displayed their costumes. For Labor day 2010 there is noshortage of new mas bands. However, one of the oldest bands Borokeete showed why they were still one of the best carnival bands around.  

The Band launching took place in Brooklyn New York. This year Borokeete celebrates Indian heritage with sections like Phagwa. Already making headlines in the Trinidad Guardian, Borokeete is off to a strong start this labor day. By securing sponsorships from Caribbean Airlines, there may not be a better choice for masqueraders wishing to jump up and play in New York.
