For Labor day 2010 there is noshortage of new mas bands. However, one of the oldest bands Borokeete showed why they were still one of the best carnival bands around. Â

The Band launching took place in Brooklyn New York. This year Borokeete celebrates Indian heritage with sections like Phagwa. Already making headlines in the Trinidad Guardian, Borokeete is off to a strong start this labor day. By securing sponsorships from Caribbean Airlines, there may not be a better choice forÂ masqueradersÂ wishing to jump up and play in New York.
