Friday- Live/Machel- Excellent show! VIP section wasn’t as lively as general…so I went back and forth to general. The perks of VIP was the food, bar and toilet stations. My only vice was more than 1 bar should have been set up and maybe several mini stations of water/soda throughout the section would have been nice….I had fun ..not much to complain about but I am sure others will
Saturday- Mud Band Can i just say how much I love my dutty crew! Mud did not disappoint me at all…pure jamishness on the road all day. Afterwards limed with some old friends that provided me with some pelau and curry conch with an ice cold Carib..nice ending to long day of bacchanal
Sunday- Indigo is THE BEST breakfast fete to go to for DC Carnival…this is VIP all inclusive at it’s best..The venue, people, food and the drinks were absolutely wonderful..Meeting Taj was a highlight of my weekend
Appreciation Fete- Partying continued.. I don’t think Zanzibar was well prepared for the crowd that came..I had to wait an 1hr for a bottle of water and some chicken tenders..and then have the waitress tell me the were out of food..lmao she just gave me the food someone else didn’t pick up which was an upgrade to Shrimp platter…so I ent mad AT ALL…I ended up leaving at 11pm but I hear the party went on to 2am
DC carnival has come a very long way from when it first started out…I hope everyone had a good time cause I sure did
