KARMA Carnival Band’s Season 3 portrayal of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”

KARMA showcased their marvelous costumes for the West Indian American Carnival Parade 2011. There are some really cool things about KARMA. First, its an authentic Caribbean Carnival vibe.  Secondly, You won’t feel like your just part of a big carnival machine  just taking your money( like some other bands on Eastern Parkway we won’t call names). Third, and I think its really cool, you get to alot of bang for your buck. If Labor Day in New York isnt’ your thing…Go down to Miami and play with them there, if Miami isn’t your thing, join them in Saint Lucia!

KARMA’s pot of gold, as was Dorothy’s, the lead character in Wizard of Oz lies “no place but home” so it was only fitting that the section “Pot of Gold” would take the band, for the first time, back home for carnival. Persons interested in this particular section have the opportunity and bonus to add more bang for their buck by being able to play mas in Saint Lucia in Just4Fun Carnival Band in July, then reuse their costume in KARMA for Labor Day in NY come the first Monday in September. The band will also be going to Miami Carnival again this year as part of the band Natural Freaks Unlimited and will be taking the section “Silver Lining” down there.

KARMA reaffirms that their goal once again this season will be to provide professional and unrivaled service, guaranteed fun, assured quality, value for money and a safe carnival experience for all its masqueraders. The band encourages everyone to visit their website www.carnivalkarma.com, their facebook page or email [email protected] for further information. Most of all, KARMA welcomes all to karma-long and join the small band with big bang and experience some good intimate carnival karma.
