Beija Flor Brazil Carnival Rio Samba School

In Portuguese, Beija flor is acutally humming bird. This Samba School is based on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro, in Nilopolis.  Beija Flor is currenlty the highest ranked Rio samba school.

The school has a team of  Carnival Designers  as opposed to one designer. The theme this year, is Sao Luis – Maranhao’s bewitched poem
