Mudders International for Trinidad Carnival 2012, and J’Ourvet 2012.
Mudders International originated in the Cayman Islands in 1989, specifically Grand Cayman. This band introduced mud mas to Grand Cayman. In 1991, the band crossed over to Jamaica in collaboration with the late Byron Lee.
In 1994, it was decided that Mudders International needed representation in the carnival festivities in Trinidad. Following this, we entered Barbados carnival for three years. Currently, the band caters for 1000 masqueraders and operates under the founder Matthew Sorzano with committee members; Robin Pyne Timothy, Candice Clarence, Melissa Dick, Anna-Lisa Jones-Reis and Robert Thompson.
Mudders International offers an all-inclusive package of secured parking facilities, security, costume/t-shirt, drinks, breakfast and of course WARM MUD.
Registration begins on Monday 6th February (5pm-9pm) at the Police Officers’ Mess Hall, corner of Barbados Road and Long Circular Road, St. James.
The opening hours of the MI mas camp are:
6th – 10th February (5pm- 9pm)
13th – 19th February (12 noon – 10pm)

Thanks for the info. Question do you know of anywhere that lists and reviews ALL the joverts that happen in trinidad during the period? Choosing one is always so hard to do and being a tourist I really want to make sure I have the best possible experience!
