The countdown to the 2nd Annual Los Angeles Culture Festival (LACF) also known as Hollywood Carnival begins with the announcement of the Grand Marshal. This year’s Grand Marshal will be the captivating and energetic 2012 and 2013 International Groovy & Power Soca Monarch Title Winner—Machel Montano, from Trinidad & Tobago.
Come and join Regulaz Entertainment, Inc. as we host six (6) days of exhilarating events which promises to be one of the largest cultural festivals in the area, infusing multiple elements of West Indian culture, music, and colorful pageantry. The Annual Los Angeles Culture Festival (LACF) will be held during National Caribbean-American Heritage Month and run from Tuesday, June 18 – Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Hollywood, California. This year’s theme is
“Expressing the Colors of Culture and Freedom.”
People of all ages are encouraged to participate and take advantage of these events, as the organizers pull out all the stops to produce an unforgettable and unique week of cultural experiences for all to enjoy. Last year thousands of spectators and revelers lined the streets of the world renowned Hollywood Boulevard to celebrate the 1
st Annual Los Angeles Culture Festival. Highlights from last year’s program included: Grand Marshals’ Nia Long, Antonio Fargas, and Lorraine Toussaint; West African and Korean drummers, Brazilian Samba dancers, steel-band orchestra, and spectacular Trini-Style costumes (mas).
