So the theme for Trinidad Carnival 2012 is Heroes! Well Superhero costumes come in some very vibrant colors. It will be interesting to see what Island People Mas does with this theme.

Spice, Pulse 8, and Island People Mas has moved Trinidad Carnival 2011

Keep up to date with where the mas bands are.

Spice carnival has a new showroom. It is now on the corner of Gray and Rust Streets in St Clair…

Pulse 8 has also moved from Gallus Street, they are now on Ariapita Avenue.

Island People Mas moved in May to the corner of O’Connor Street and Warren Street.

Island People Mas presents their Trinidad Carnival 2010 presentation “KUTCHELA, Ching ku-ching ching ching”. The ching sound is the noise the beads make. Island People’s band is heavily influenced by the eastern culture. The cosutme that has been causing an uproar is Kalpana by Sonia Mack. Sonia Mack known for her creative designs has another exquisite costume this year. The costume is naked yet beautiful! Another costume I love from this chapter is Mundra. The jewels and color combination are a perfect match. Everything blends well on this costume. Below are my top picks. As Trinidad Carnival 2009 comes closer and closer there seems to be fewer and fewer costumes available. Island People Mas seem to be one of the fortunate.Mas Camps to have almost all of their sections completely sold out.
