It’s Monday September 1st 2008. It’s J’ouvert, an early morning revelry of panmen, musicians, and merrymakers, onlookers and masqueraders, the dance of the Red Devils, and baby powder filled the air with a pleasant refreshing smell as it is being thrown by the White devils.
