Unlike Trinidad’s Monday J’ouvert, Sugar Mas places J’ouvert on Boxing Day inside the Christmas–New Year carnival season.
Paint and powder packages are sold by individual troupes, and prices vary. We'll add them once the troupes publish their 2026/27 packages.
Many visitors arrive a few days before December 26 so they can recover before New Year’s Grand Parade.
